HOMEMADE BONE BROTH RECIPE

Ingredients

Add 3 Carnos raw beef neck bones (these can be used fresh or frozen straight from your freezer) and 7-8 Carnos chicken feet to your pressure cooker or crock pot. Toss in the dog-safe veggie scraps and fill your crock pot with water up to about 1-inch below the maximum fill line.

Pro Tip: Adding a spoonful of apple cider vinegar to the broth helps all the bones break down further, infusing your broth with all of those good minerals and nutrients.

Seal the crock pot and set to High for three hours.

VERY IMPORTANT: Remove *all* bones and bone fragments from your broth and discard. Make sure to never feed cooked bones to your pets!

You can pull all of the leftover meat out of the broth and set it aside to use it for treats later.

Strain your broth to make sure you’ve removed all of the smaller bone fragments that you may have missed. Let your broth cool, and then refrigerate. You can store this liquid gold in the refrigerator for a few days or keep frozen for longer-term use.
