By following just a few safe food handling and storage best practices, you can avoid the risk of contamination or foodborne illnesses when handling raw food.
Step 1 • Keep all raw products frozen until you are ready to use them.
Step 2 • Thoroughly defrost in your refrigerator before serving.
Step 3 • Serve in a clean dish.
Step 4 • Store unused portions in a separate clean, air-tight container • do not cross-contaminate with storage meant for human food.
Step 5 • Keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours of opening.
