Our Beginning
In the 1980s Peter Beukers, our founder, emigrated to the US and brought his vast knowledge of meat along with him. A Master Butcher by trade and an animal lover by heart, Peter noticed that there was something very wrong with the pet food industry: thanks to over-processed kibble, there’s a tremendous nutritional gap in our pets’ diets. Peter decided to change that.

Our Evolution
In 2024, it was time for a makeover. While the outward appearance of Top Quality Dog Food has evolved into our new look — Carnos — what makes us tick hasn’t changed.
