Made with 100% USDA Inspected and Approved Human-Grade beef, our Beef Organ Mix is a blend of ground beef heart, beef liver, beef kidney, and beef lung. Beef heart, liver, and kidney are all natural sources of taurine, an essential nutrient for cats. While dogs can produce their own taurine, it can be beneficial to incorporate into their diets especially for dogs with existing heart conditions. Should be fed as organs and combined with other ingredients to create a balanced diet. Suitable for both dogs and cats.

Beef heart contains phosphorus, b vitamins, iron, and taurine. Beef liver contains preformed vitamin A (retinol) and copper. Beef kidney contains b vitamins and selenium. Beef lung contains iron.

I used to buy heart, liver and kidney and grind it myself. This is so much easier and the 1 pound rolls are perfect for 5lbs of beef.

  2. Sydney (verified owner)

I usually buy whole organs but this is a great alternative and easier to handle. I wish it specified how much of each organ is in the 1 pound mix so I could ensure my dogs are getting what they need. Then I might even just switch to this regularly. But it’s great when you want an easier prep.

      Hi Sydney,

We use 35% liver, 30% heart, 20% Kidney, 10% lung and 5% spleen to make this mix

I’ve heard organs contain a lot of fat. What would be the best percentage for aging lab?

my dog hates whole organs so this item is perfect for making sure she gets the nutrients she needs.

Perfect premix, makes my life so much easier that cutting up whole organs

  7. Brittany Jackson (verified owner)

Much more convenient than cutting up organs, myself. My dogs love this organ mix! It’s the first thing they eat out of their bowls.

  8. Lauren (verified owner)

This is great when I do DIY or add to my kibble dogs food. Always prefer the beef for the consistency.
