Chicken Leg 1/4
$15.75
Chicken Leg Quarters include both the leg and upper thigh with skin and edible bone and are made with antibiotic-free, steroid-free, and hormone-free chicken. In addition to the amino acids and B vitamins provided by chicken meat, the edible bone within chicken quarters provides essential calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. Chicken quarters are higher in fat due to the skin, and pair well with lean muscle meats. Alternatively, the skin can be easily removed to create a lean meaty bone to pair with fattier meats. Chicken skin is a rich source of the Omega-6 essential fatty acid Linoleic Acid. This pairs best with flax or chia to provide a balanced fatty acid ratio. Chewing on a raw, meaty bone promotes great dental hygiene in addition to regular brushing as needed. This product should be fed as meaty bone and is not intended to comprise the bulk of the diet. Recommended whole for dogs only, can be ground at home for cats. Available in 5-pound bags.Â

2 quarters, with the skin removed, make a great dinner for the pup. Unless the skin is removed, my puppy’s confused by the meaty bone. Loves the taste. Amazing price.

These are a staple in my house and I do love that they are in smaller, more manageable packages instead of having to deal with a 40lb box of frozen chicken leg quarters!

I recently added in some whole meat to my cats’ diet. They’re still a bit daunted by these whole but when I slice them into strips, they go nuts.
